This Privacy Policy explains how Giggle.AI ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with our mobile applications, websites, and services (collectively, the "Apps"). We care about your privacy and aim to be clear about what we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
We design Giggle.AI Apps around a few simple principles: collect only what is needed to provide the features you use, be transparent about how your information is handled, give you meaningful controls, and never sell your personal data. This policy is written broadly to cover current and future Giggle.AI Apps. When a particular App or feature has meaningful differences, we will describe them in the App itself or in a supplementary notice.
The specific information we collect depends on which App you use, which features you choose to enable, and whether you create an account. The categories below describe the types of information we may collect across our Apps.
If you choose to create an account, we may collect information needed to identify your account and let you sign back in, such as an email address, phone number, or a third-party sign-in identifier. Creating an account is optional, and many features of our Apps can be used without signing in.
When you use our Apps, you may import, create, or save content such as videos, audio, text, notes, bookmarks, or learning materials. Depending on the feature and your choices, this content may be processed on your device, stored with your account so that it can be used across your devices, or sent to a service provider that helps deliver a specific feature you have requested.
As you use an App, we may collect information about how you interact with its features, such as playback progress, items you have saved or studied, your review history, quiz results, and app preferences (for example, appearance and playback settings). If you are signed in, this information may be associated with your account so that your experience can continue across devices.
To keep our Apps reliable, we may collect diagnostic information such as device model, operating system version, App version, language and region, and technical details about errors or crashes. This information helps us identify and fix problems.
We may collect aggregated, de-identified statistics about how features are used across all users (for example, how many users open a particular feature each week). This information is not used to identify you personally.

Depending on the feature, information may be processed on your device, on our own servers, or by third-party service providers that help deliver a specific feature. Some features may involve a combination — for example, a feature that begins with on-device processing and uses a cloud service for higher accuracy. We choose the processing model that best balances the quality of the feature, performance, and your privacy, and we only send information off of your device when it is needed to provide a feature you have chosen to use.

Each third-party service handles information under its own privacy policy. We only share with them the information that is needed for the feature you are using, and we do not authorize them to use your information for their own marketing.
Giggle.AI Apps only request the system permissions that are needed for the features you choose to use. When a feature requires a permission, iOS will prompt you the first time it is needed, and you can change any permission at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Information stored on your device remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Information associated with your account is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, unless we are required to retain it longer for legal or security reasons. Information sent to third-party services is handled according to their own retention policies.
Our Apps are suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
If you use our Apps from outside the country where our service providers are located, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries that may have different data protection laws. By using our Apps, you consent to such transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our Apps, legal requirements, or industry practice. We will update the "Last updated" date above whenever we make a change. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where practical, for example through an in-App message or a highlighted note at the top of this page.
